Mobo Support for M.2 SSD

I have a MSI x58 Pro-E board and i was wondering if i can get a M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD drive. I can't find any information on it maybe i'm missing something. But i really like to upgrade to a M.2 SSD.

If it does not fit what is the best option after a M.2 SSD?

No your motherboard doesn't have built in M.2 support.

The best option for you would be to just go with a SATA SSD.

What if i get a M.2 to PCIe adapter?

Or is there no way because the motherboard can't support it.

I see that there are M.2 SSDs and PCIe SSDs is there any difference? Because they are in different categories.

Adapter should work.

I however would go for a straight SATA ssd to avoid any possible compatibility issues.
