Question Mobo support for RAM

So i see that my motherbord supports DDR4-3600 but it says OC (currently running 2666 with xmp )
So my question is if i buy DDR4-3600 will it work or will it be lowered in my system

check QVL list in motherboards site for supported RAM kits and speeds.

It will run at a default speed and you will have to manually configure it to run at it's speed. It can get to 3600, and probably much over that.
