Mobo tension against io shield

Hi,

In currently installing a Strix Z270E MB into a Fractal Design Define R5 case.
I had some trouble with the I/O pushing the motherboard back despite tilting it and then lowering the MB once ports were in, so I bent the metal prongs slightly further back.

I finally got it to fit, but it did so by slotting onto the center mounting "screw", which is permanent on the case. If I lift the motherboard off it, I can feel it being pushed away from the IO shield - 2-5mm or so. Should mention the IO shield, contrary to most I've encountered, has padding on the inside.

Either way, it feels firmly in place, but should I be worried about the slight sideways tension it's apparently under?

Solution
The tension from the emi shield (padding) is normal, just make sure the shield is snapped/pressed/seated firmly in the case cutout, and you should not need to modify anything
Cheers. Yeah, I made doubly sure that the shield itself is firmly in place. It was mostly the constant push on the MB from it I was worried about - but as I understand it, that's normal, especially for padded IO shields? :)
