I'm building a budget PC, I'm really short on cash so I'm going to start slowly and build it little by little everyweek..

I was thinking about getting this board

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186130

It supports up to 2GB ( i won't need more than that )
It has a PCI Express slot for the video card... it has 2 Sata and 2 Ide.... just about what I need....
And it supports Core 2 Duo... I will probably start with a Core Duo anyways....

What do you guys think ? is this a good deal? or is there something else better... maybe AMD ?

Dont go with a budget motherboard, and dont go with anything with a crap chipset

ASUS P5GC-MX/133

I'd save some more cash, and get most everything all at once. Sign up for email from tigerdirect and newegg. They have email specials every week. Tigerdirect had an am2 board with 3500 cpu, 1 gig memory, and case with power supply for $99 after rebate. Not a bad deal, but only by email.
