Also, the SSD you choose wold have to be SATA as opposed to NVMe, since a board that old wouldn't have BIOS support for booting from NVMe. It wouldn't really make a very noticeable difference in performance from an SSD with standard SATA III connection either.
Why do you think it wouldn't make a noticeable difference?
PCIe SSD's are 10x faster than SATA.
Would I also need to get a different CPU for it to be noticeable?
