Mobo went 1366 upgrading to 1151

So my 8 year old rig decided to give up on me. So i got a board picked out msi z270 pro gaming carbon. Now i dont play on the pc like i use too, but the only games i do play are arma 3 and iracing. I don't do any video editing. I also discovered i am able to use my zalman cpu cooler, i reached out to them and they provided me the parts i need to convert my cpns9000 no charge! My only decision up in the air is the cpu. I am leaning toward the i5 7600k over the i7 7700k. What does everyone think?

If you got the buck definitely go for the 7700K. It will serve you well for a long time.

I just got a i5 7600k for 170 brand new. I guess i have to think it over if i want to get the 7700 instead.

You will also be fine with the 7600K. No worries. That is also a fine cpu you got there.
