[SOLVED] Mobo won't allow auto booting to USB stick but will allow me to manually choose it to boot from

Hello there!

I'm using a PC as my router, booting OpenWRT from a USB stick. Everything works fine once it's up and running but if we lose power, the PC won't automatically boot from it and the BIOS doesn't show it as an option for automatically booting but if I go into the boot menu (F8), it shows the sandisk stick there and I can choose it to boot into.

What can I do to get the USB stick to be my primary boot choice?

Try putting the bios into legacy mode; if it doesn't have one then try Legacy +uefi.
