Question Mobo's displayport doesn't work

Hi,
I have a asus tuf gaming b460 plus with an i5-10500 as CPU/GPU (integrated).
I've connected the mobo with the monitor with HDMI until now and it worked without problems, but now I've tried to switch to display port (with a display port to HDMI adapter) and I have no signal.
I need to do it because I need the HDMI for a graphic tablet.
I tried to update mobo and cpu drivers and turn on igpu from bios but nothing changes: if I connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI output on the mobo I have signal, but if I connect it to the adapter connected tothe displayport I have no signal.

Adapters are iffy. I also tried a similar adapter without success.
You may need a powered adapter to do the conversion.
You can buy a pcie gt710 for <$10 on ebay that can handle hdmi.
