Can the MoCa Adapters be used to install a AP (like Ubiquit UAP or a Xclaim xi-1,2 or 3?) That is assuming I understand those AP's setups correctly. I need and want to get a wireless signal downstairs where my coverage is awful and intermittent at best for tablets and such. The Modem/Router is upstairs at the opposite side of the house and coverage is always tough. I have tried Wireless AP's such as WD wireless-AC Bridge with some improvement. Powerlines wont work with my house and after learning about these MoCa's I was hoping this would be a possibility because the way I understand it, I need to get an Ethernet line all the way to where I would want say the UAP-LR by Ubiquiti and there is just no feasible way to run that line myself the way my house is setup and would be costly to have someone do for us. So any help and advice is appreciated, thanks for any and all help.
Also, can a switch be used off of the MoCa adapter and if yes, can I then one of those ports to a AP or no? thanks
