Question Moca setup help

Here is where I am at. We currently ATT fiber internet with DirectTV satellite TV(no active service) The DirectTV is brought in on a splitter MSPLIT8R1-03. Its a 1 in 8 out splitter. Its the only splitter in the house.

When I connect the two moca adapters together it works great.

When I go modem>gocoax>coax to coax>gocoax>pc the adapters don't communicate. The moca light never comes on. I have no idea what to try at this point

Current setup is directtv dish in to splitter. out ports to all the rooms of the house. Modem>ethernet cable>gocoax>coax into wall Coax from wall>gocoax>ethernet cable>to pc and it doesn't work

When I did modem>ethernet cable>gocoax>coax>gocoax>ethernet cable>pc worked

What is the difference between "modem>gocoax>coax to coax>gocoax>pc" and "modem>ethernet cable>gocoax>coax>gocoax>ethernet cable>pc" ?
is it just using the splitter vs using a direct coax cable?
Your pictures of the installed splitter and the Amazon page don't match ...
