Mod error message-issue?

I have played Morrowind w/o a plugin or mod installed since the game came
out.

Just installed BetterHeads mod and a plugin that added a Magiblade and
Magithief as a class. I get into the game and get an error message that the
proper master.esm cannot be found. But, when I allow the exe to execute, the
game seems to run properly, without any issues that I can detect.

I have only patched Morrowind once and have version 1.5.1629. I have B/Moon
and Tribunal both installed. I don't believe I have patched either
expansion.

Other then the message being annoying....is this an indication of a serious
problem that I should try to resolve? TIA

D.

This message means that one or more of the mods was created with an
older version of the main esm file than the one you are currently
patched to. In most cases, this has no consequences at all. If you want
to get rid of the message, you would need to open each mod in the
editor, then save it again without changing anything. As this is a bit
of a bother, most people just ignore the error message.

Get a nifty utility called TesTool
http://www34.brinkster.com/ghostwheel/

Does a bunch of stuff, including conflict resolution, but has a feature
called "update header", use it on the mod and fixes the reference to
your version.

Check out my Mods Paage :)
