Modded Minecraft stuck below 60 fps

I am playing the Unabridged mod pack using ATLauncher. The problem for me is I get below 60 fps constantly. 20 - 50.

My specs are
i7-4770 3.4GHz
GTX 1060 6GB
24 GB DDR3 799MHz
732GB HDD

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Could be your RAM (its VERY outdated) But I doubt it. What modifications are you using? If you are using a light shader mod or an ultra-realistic texture pack than that could be the case.

Then I don't know what to tell you.
Could also depend on the ammount. 100+ mods could easily cause low fps (happens to me all the time on Skyrim)

256 mods. But the thing is, my friend with 8GB DDR3 799 MHz, 3.2 GHz, 4GB VRAM and 500 GB HDD gets 100+ FPS.
I'm not sure why.
