Am looking for advice from owners of the cooler.
I can get the cooler for less tha 60$ from a guy that doesnt want it (sealed box -brand new). I know that facts about the cooler (eg not as good as top end air coolers etc etc)
But here is what am thinking:

If i could swap the radiatiors for proper dualfan rads it could possible be the best bang/buck watercooler. At a cost around 100 - 120 $. It would be a pretty sweet budget setup that could probably beat the top end Air coolers but a significant margin to justify the cost difference (as a good air cooler such as the megahalem will set you back around 80 dollars for a dual fan setup + shipping.

So here are my questions:

1) Does anyone know what the Flow rate of the pump is?
2) maximum head?
3) What ID are the tubes?
4) Does it seem possible to change the rads?

If i get the anwers i want i am willing to to do it just for the sake of tesing out how it works.

Thanks in advance, looking forwand to your replies.

My goodness, I knew this would pop up. You have to add a res to add a rad to it. It's sealed and no way to bleed the system. It might be partially aluminum inside, so you'll have to worry about long term corrosion.

No one knows these things, it's a cheap almost watercooling setup. the only mod even worth doing is getting big fans. I'm sure the pump is weak, the CPU block built into the pump isn't the best for heat removal. The ID is way less than anyone who does real watercooling would ever use.

Buy a real WC setup, don't try to add performance stuff to a moped. Start at the watercooling link at the sceond post in this forum.

Do you own a h5o?
My intention is not the best performace. I am interesed to see for how you can get to better-than-air-cooling temps. Even the cheapest pump/block/rad combo will set you back around 120 quid without tubing, barbs etc. I bet that the low end radiators barely beat the one on the h5o. And low end blocks (30$) ain any better either. So my point is that by just changing a rad and adding a cheap reservoir would get it much closer to much more expensive setup.

Well it's possible, I wouldn't. No, I don't own a H50, I got two 120x3 radiators, two pumps, two full cover GPU blocks and a top CPU block.

Give it a try. And yea, real watercooling isn't cheap.
