Modding GF2MX to Quadro?

Are there any benefits of modding my GF2MX to a Quadro?
I only use it for games, no CAD.

I don't have much extra cash lying around so it will be some time before I get a GF4 Ti4200.

So any performance gain in the mean time is worth the risk.

Quadro only supports a few extra OpenGL-functions for CAD and the like, so there wouldnt be much in it for you I think.

Plus, correct me if I´m wrong, but don´t you need a GTS/PRO/ULTRA to "make" a Quadro?
