Modding/moving a heat spreader

I have a broken 2133mhz 4gb ddr4 HyperX black and I'm currently using a 8gb 2400 mhz samsung one, I was thinking if it's okay to put the heat spreader on the samsung one and how can I do it

Before you butcher that stick of HyperX, have you already attempted to RMA it for a replacement? Per Kingston, it's covered by a lifetime warranty for the HyperX series.

I'm missing the receipt and I live in the Philippines so yeah I don't think I can avail for one

If you haven't contacted them yet, try giving them a call or reach out over their online support. Doesn't hurt ask. In fact, you might not need a receipt at all for an RMA. But you'll never know unless you contact them.

Well, I just contacted the store where I bought from they said

1. Photocopy of proof of purchase
2. CRITICAL IN WRITING, Briefly explain what happened what steps we can take to reproduce the problem.
3. (if for outright replacement then) Complete box, manual and accessories

PS. please read the warranty info as found in your receipt and be guided accordingly

Is that Kingston saying that, or the retail store you bought it from? Because honestly, I wouldn't waste your time with the retail store if Kingston can replace it faster and easier.
