It is partly because of their potential for conversion that I play CSM.

No kidding - that is damn sweet. I love the 'how to' pictures
included with the finished model. I'm guessing from the builder's
comments about the Games Day judging that the only thing that really
hurt him/her was the dark and less colorful color scheme, particularly
on the lizard mount. Which is really a shame as the model is highly
characterful for both the Inq. and the dark & gritty 40K universe. It
seems that if you want to win a Demon these days you have to use damn
near every color in GW's range. A bit more color would have helped
bring out some of the details, but it's still a superb conversion job.

Thanks for the link, those shots'll have to go into my archives.
