Hello, I have a modem directly from my ISP that can use wireless, but the ethernet ports don't work. In the modem settings it sees the device, but no internet connection, why?

Solution
Your modem from the ISP, does it have 1 or 4 ethernet ports on it?

If it has 4 then reset your router to factory settings or go into settings and try to set it auto DHCP.
Have you tried resetting the modem?

Shut down your computer and any other connected devices.
When all are shut down, unplug your modem for AT LEAST 30 seconds.
Plug your modem back in. You will note the sequence of lights as the modem goes through it's boot process.
When all the lights are lit and the PC connection light is either blinking (ready) of off (no devices), power up your computer.

Once your PC is fully up and you're logged in, what is the status of your connection light on your modem?
