modem/router internet speed

Hello guys! So I have a 2in1 rounter and modem together. I used to have 50mb download and 5 mb upload. But now, my 2in1 seems to be shutting off once every few hours and when I go on ookla speedtest, it shows my ping to be 10, which was normal, download speed ranging from 1-2 which was not normal and the upload at 5-6 which was normal. I am not sure if the 2in1 is broken or if it needs to be updated. Thank you!

Is this a wired or WiFi connection to the router?

This seems to be a slowdown to every device in the house. We have 3 computers and 4 phones and there has never been a slow down, now we can't even watch a 480p video on youtube without buffering. Also when I restart the 2in1 rounter/modem, the speed becomes fast and normal for around 10 min then just slows downn to 1-2 mb

Hello! I just reset my router and bam! The internet speed is back up high again and goes as high as 70mb and upload is 5mb. I have learned and lot from this and thank you guys! But its still werid how only the download gets affected and not the upload and ping.
