[SOLVED] Modem>Switch>Router No internet although the wifi signal is here

From what i can see, the ip settings in the router shows that i have used dynamic ip. However, the stats (ip address, subnet mask, default gateway and dns server) all showed 0. The internet is not coming thorugh also. Any idea?

Why do you have a switch between the modem and the router.

You only get 1 IP address from your ISP. If you plug a pc and a router into the switch after the modem only one of the devices will be given a IP. This is why you buy a router so you can share that IP address.
