Modern Warfare 2 crashes when the graphics are full

I recently purchased an EVGA GTS 250 512MB to upgrade from an HD Radeon 4670. Well i tried running call of duty on full graphics( 1920 X 1080 Texture: Extra ,Specular:extra, Normal Map: extra). It goes to the loading screen but as soon as i think it tries to load the textures it crashes. If i turn any one of the three options from extra to high the game runs perfectly smooth at 80-90 FPS. I think this might be a driver issue or a windows 7 issue(I have 32 bit).My current specs are:

AsRock P45 XE MOBO
Intel E8400 @ 3.00 GHZ
2GB corsair cominator PC2-8500 (DDR2 1066)
EVGA GTS 250 512MB
Maxtor 250 GB drive
Hitachi 400GB drive
HP DVD Writer
The Cpu is liquid cooled and the temps on almost all sensors never goes above 40. The GPU gets into the 50's with fan on 40%.

Did you remove the old HD 4670 drivers, completely?

I agree with Lmeow ^ + 1. I went from nVidia to ATi and I had to do a clean install before my ATi drivers worked properly.

This is not necessarily relevant but what PSU do you have?

Well I think I did but i'll do a thourough cleaning. I have a coolermax 650w. it was 39.99 kinda hard to pass that up know what I mean.
