I have a Dimension 4550 and an Inspiron 9300. The Dimension has a Pentium 4 2.4Ghz Northwood and I want to clock it to around 3.0Ghz. Its motherboard can only hold 1 GB of memory. The Inspiron, unfortunately, has a Pentium M 730, so I can't do the pin mod. I know this a long shot, but does anyone know where I can find modified BIOS that will let me overclock these systems and add more memory to my Dimension. It like to squeeze, hopefully, at least another year out of my Dimension.

I would really like this too, so BUMP. I'm using a 3 year old Dimension 4600 with the same cpu, the possibility of overclocking it would be great because it's a big bottleneck in my Oblivion performance.

I think I have an Intel based 845PE motherboard. Here are the links to some pictures. They didn't turn out too well because I'm using an old camera and the green pipe covers much of the board.

Thanks for the RMClock link. I'll try to use it as soon as I can, but I'd also like to overclock the processor.

xXDracoXx, I see that you have a x1600PRO and that your CPU is bottlenecking it. I was planning on getting 6800GS, but should I get an 6800XT instead? I'll be running everything at 1024X768.
