Question Modify my cpu for using engineering softwares such as autocad

I have core2duo processor with board Intel NH82801gb . I want to modify it by installing new ram,ssd and graphic card . Can you please suggest me the maximum limit of specs I can have . I only have 2gb ddr2 ram and 250 gb hdd with inbuilt graphic card

That's not motherboard designation, please provide full product name and model.

I'm afraid it-s way too old and there's no parts for it made at least 10 years and you will be limited to second hand components. Here's the list of compatible CPUs

Whatever Intel Core 2 Quad you can find would be of some help. Memory is limited to 2x2 GB of DDR2 so you would have to get 2 new sticks as DDR2 if very finicky to upgrade.

Yes, there are 2 SATA ports but they are low speed so SSD will not work at full possible speed although will be much faster than any HDD.
