Question Modify (Relocate) CMOS cell battery spot-welded tabs?

Ive got a cell battery with tabs that are spot-welded in the wrong locations. Is there a safe way to move these are is it too dangerous and better to just get one thats spot-welded properly?

Yes.

Unless you can bend the tabs into position to work right just get a new one that's assembled correctly.

Thanks mate, the tabs were way too far apart for that. I just got one with the tabs spot-welded where I needed them and I’m set. Cheers
