Hello,
I need help regarding my new PC build.
I am buying a complete new PC build and my colour scheme will be white and black. The SSD i'm buying (Kingston Technology 120 GB Solid State Drive 2.5 inch V300 SATA 3) has a red sticker across it.
I was wondering I have a heat gun but i'm sure is used for stripping paint, can I use that to heat it off or is it a no no?
Much appreciated!

That....just sounds like something that will end in tears. If it absolutely has to come off and it's not neat any connectors or anything, try something like Goof Off first.
You could just peel the sticker off and clean the residue with some dish-soap on a piece of damp cloth, or like the previous poster suggested goo-be-gone type solvent. TBH you shouldn't have a problem slowly heating the ssd and peeling off the sticker if needed, you're just heating up the outer plastic casing, as long as its not too hot to touch you'll be fine, one trick is to put tinfoil all around the area your heating, so just the sticker gets heated up.

Good Luck
