ModMic and Dac Suggestions !

Today my Audio technica M50x arrived and i first tried it on my phone and it wasn't that much different than my razer kraken pro's which was kinda disappointing , later i connected it straight to my Laptop and i fell in love in how it sounds to the point where i don't want to use my Razer Kraken anymore which takes me to my Next point :
I need a Mic to go with it for gaming/recording and obviously first came in mind is the ModMic.
Modmic 5 is about 85 euros and the 4 is 50 only and judging on reviews they are almost the same except uni and Omni directional mode (correct me if I'm wrong)
And i'm wondering if a cheap Amp/Dac would make some difference to my Mic and M50x's
would the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD USB Audio System Dac be usefull or will i be wasting my money ?

I doubt you're going to find a DAC that caters to both the headphone and your mic. In fact you should be looking at an audio interface but they wont come anywhere near 30 euro's more than double that.

I'd suggest a Yamaha AG03 or a Focusrite Solo.

Mind you I'm suggesting them for the event you want to do things professionally.

On another note, mind sharing your full systems specs?

Currently running on an old laptop with an i3 M370 2.40 GHz
Radeon HD 4500
6GB of ram
I will be upgrading to a desktop in the summer but the pc I'm building wont be a High end and most likely around 500-600 euros

And the reason i'm looking for an AMP because the Highs on my Headphones become Hissy on loud volume (its not that bad but noticeable)
