Save a pre-mod copy of your game so you'll have a Safe save game you can
load IF the mod somehow can't be safely removed from your save games.
Next Copy the mods (the content of your mod zips, not the zips
themselves) to the your Morrowind "Data Files" directory. That should
also copy any files that need to be in specific sub-directories, into
their proper sub-directories...
Then rather than select PLAY when you run the game, select Data Files
and select (you might need to select the mod more than once to make sure
the mod has an X in the small box next to the mod) the mod you want to
try in the list of files.
Finely, load a saved game and check out the mod, hopefully the mod will
not cause problems (cosmetic or otherwise) with the game or other mods
you may be using...
Have Fun! ^_^
That's my 2¢,
