Modular cables changeable?

I have a modular psu, but the power cable for the ssd is on a multi ribbon and my case requires that the ssd sits flush against the back.

I need to replace the cables with some completely flat ones, but I read that these cables are not interchangeable?

Also what is this kind of power cable called (the one to an ssd)?

SATA power cable from PSU powers a SSD and you need to use the cables that come with a power supply , not interchangeable.

It'll add some excess cable, but you could use an extension cable.

I have no idea what length you need, but this site has 6,12 and 24 inch cables, individually sleeved.
