Modular or Non Modular PSU?

Just wondering if there are any performance differences. I realize that modular is better for cabling, but are there any other advantages?

Some people claim modular PSU's theoretically perform marginally worse thanks to an additional connector on every lead . But the difference must be TINY

I'd only buy a modular PSU if I had a small case with limited places to stow stray leads .

Only in that with less clutter in the case the modular unit will allow better airflow and lower temps.
