has anyone anywhere seen this power supply, i was wondering if anyone owns or has used this PSU and what suggestions you might have on it? thanks for your time

As far as I know Ultra is a TigerDirect brand (or a brand of their parent company), not a manufacturer, so you probably won't find out much until you find out who made it.

i did find it in tiger direct,its a unique power supply , check out the website, i just dont want to buy it and then find out that i spent $129 for something that burns out in a week, or just isnt worth the money. has anyone done any tests on it? i was wondering if anyone owns it, and if you do, is it worth the hype.
 
Hmm, I think I saw an identicle design from another company...I wonder if they're the manufacturer, because theirs was fairly good as I recall.

I went with the Antec version of the same scheme. It's called the Neopower 480. I love it. Cleans up case clutter and it's from a company thats rock solid. Go that route if you're worried about branding or quality. Funny thing is though, if you've a hooked up rig, you wind up with a lot of cables anyway.
