About 2weeks ago, i bought and installed Medal of Honor Limited Edition. The first time i tried to play it, it got to the main menu and froze.. i tried it 3-4 more times and it kept freezing at the main menu. soo, i said F it and gave up..... a few days ago i tried to play it again. This time it actually played. at the start of the game, your a passenger in a vehicle. you get to a check point, FREEZE!! but, the sound continues to play, the screen was froze, my system would not respond, but i could hear the game continuing. Anyway, i looked at the "system event viewer" and found "ati2mtag" error when the game froze. Does anyone know what i could do to fix this? :( It sorta sux i bought a game for $30, and it freezes every time i try to play it :fou: .... my system should be powerfull enough to play it, and i've installed the latest drivers. Help is MUCH appreciated!!

Stalker,Farcry2,Bioshock2,starwarsTFU2,Singularity,Rainbow6vegas2,, all these games + a few others run great on my rig. MOH is the only game that has ever given me a problem. Ive reinstalled MOH 3 times so far, and it continues to freeze up on me 1-2mins into the game. i tried playing MOH with low, med, high settings and it still freezes. Ive also defragd my HDD....

i honestly have no idea man... i had tried it the nite before and it didnt work as usual. the next nite (thursday) i turned my rig on and tried to play the game, and it just decided to work..... i really dont understand how it never worked, and then all of the sudded, it wants to cooperate... Does anyone know what mite have caused this to happen??? cause i sure as heck dont.

this is a very old and well known driver issue. it normally happens when gfx cards become unstable due to over clocking or excessive heat. run gpu-z and get it to create a log while you play your most gfx demanding game. then after 15 mins or so if you dont crash then look at the log and take not of your vrm temps compared to your gpu temps..
if you have an oc running remove it for the purpose of the test.

@ HEXiT

which temp is my vrm?? GPU-Z shows; gpu temp, gpu temp-1, gpu temp-2, gpu temp-3. I set my 5770 clocks back to stock and i played stalker COP with max DX9 settings @ 1080p. none of the gpu temps went above 54c. I also played MOH while GPU-Z was logging. The game played great at max settings and the temps stayed below 55c. I then set my 5770 clocks to core/mem 925/1350, played MOH again, and it didn't give me any problems. none of the temps went above 60c.
