[SOLVED] Molex to 8 pin?

Bought new psu: corsair cx550m
It has 6 pin for my gpu, but im planning on getting sapphire rx 580 nitro + special edition
It has 6+8 pin, can i convert 2xmolex to 8 pin
CPU: 9400f
1ssd and 1hdd

not for long. then fire. just don't.
the ampoerage running through molex is not enough to power a GPU, hence the PCIe power port existing. molex is made for drives, DVD, bluray, hard drives, drives and other LOW power devices.

the 6+2 pin is the 8 pin connector and that unit should have 2 6+2 pin ports available. you have what you need for a 2 x 8-pin card

So i cant buy new psu i like this, i have to get another gpu?

the specs say it has 2 x 6+2 pin cables which is its way of saying any combo of 6-pin and/or 8-pin ports can be supported.

an 8-pin for the CPU and two 6+2 pins cables for the video card
