Question MOLEX to SATA

Hi,
I want to speed up my sisters old pc with an SSD. So I looked inside of the pc if there are any non-occupied SATA power cables. Well, there's only one and it's already in use (it's powering an HDD, which I want to keep in), but there are MOLEX cables everywhere . I found some MOLEX to SATA adapters on the internet. Do they work? Are they really that dangerous?

They work fine, nothing complicated there.
