Molex won't fit into molex adapter

This molex won't fit into this I'm trying to connect my fan hub on my nzxt case h440. The molex came with only 3 pins please help

These things are a pain. Your best bet is to grasp the male end of the molex that you are plugging in by the cords at the base of the plastic plug and try to wiggle/maneuver them into a semi-straight position to get it to go in. The pins aren't stationary on most molex plugs like you would expect so this is the only way I can think of to get it to work.
