[SOLVED] Moment of No Return - Advice on 3600X Build

Hi Everyone, I would really appreciate a review and possible advice for a new build I'm working on:

Processor -> AMD RYZEN 5 3600X 6-Core 3.8 GHz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 95W 100-100000022BOX Desktop Processor

CPU Cooler -> Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan

OS -> Windows 10 Home - 64-bit - OEM

A couple quesitons:

1. Is the MOBO overkill?
2. Will the RAM work at 3600 or will it get slowed down to 3200 becuase I have 2 sticks? I imagine it is fine but I saw a post from someone saying they had problems.
3. Is the power supply good enough?

Get the Freezer 34 Duo same price and better.

Did you check if your RAM is in the memory compatibility list of your motherboard?

The RAM has a greater chance of working at 3600mhz since you ONLY have 2 sticks.

The 3600X is not a hot CPU with 6 cores, I have the Freezer with 8 core 1800X and my temps max out at 60C under Prime95.
But if you can afford a bigger cooler, why not.

Are you going to be mainly gaming? You could save quite a bit of money on the mobo if you don't need any of the x570 specific features.

Sorry for all of the questions, looking for wifi too. Is it best to get it in the MOBO or buy a wifi card?

I probably won't upgrade the CPU or put in more than 64GB of RAM. So sounds like the 450 is best for me.

You will be able to use ryzen 4000 chips on b450 boards as far as I'm aware, if you want to upgrade in the future anyway. Also a wifi adapter will do just fine.

Didn't include a wifi adapter I'll leave that up to you. I've done a lot of reading on builds myself recently but I'm by no means one of the more experienced people on this website so if you like the look of this I'd advise linking this build and get a couple more opinions before pulling the trigger. Definitely looks solid though.
