Momentary button question

I’m making a controller for slot car drag racing and I have a momentary switch for the gas but I want to add another switch thay when pressed cuts the power to the throttle till released how would I flip the way the switch works just solder the negative to the positive and the positive to the negative?

You're looking for a "Normally Closed" switch.
Connection is ON, until you press the button.
