Hi Guys,
I'm looking for some help cooling a bartop arcade I just built with an i5-4670K. Stock speed right now and based on temps I think overclocking is out of the question.
The cores idle around 44C, but during Intel Burn Test they shoot up too 100C very quickly. At that point, I stop the test.
I currently have a Noctua NH-L12 cooler. Based on the cramped bartop size, I can only fit a 100mm CPU cooler. I've read pretty much every thread/review I can find looking for the best cooling possible. Sadly, I think water cooling is out, because the exhaust fans would have to attach to the back door that opens/closes and would put strain on the tubes -- that's assuming I could find tubes long enough to mount.
My question is this, if money is no object, is there some kind of spaceage CPU cooler 100mm or shorter that would tame my 4670K?
