Question Moniter showing static screen after doing driver update.

Hi,
my moniter occasionally shows a static screen like the old TVs after I installed the latest drivers for my gpu. The static screen only goes away after unplugging and replugging the hdmi cable.

Is it a problem with the drivers or the cable? The cable isnt old or worn out. It came with my monitor (only bout a month old.)

MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX mobo
16gb (2x8) lpx 3000 ddr4
coolermaster mwe 650 watt psu
gigabyte GTX 1660super OC

I don't think its anything worng with my config cause everything was fine until yesterday when i updated my nvidia drivers. The problem is new.
