Monitering in-game performance

I have used EVGA program with my GTX950 for in-game performance monitoring, but I wasn't sure how accurate it is. What would some of you recommend?

enable the RTST in game monitor in the settings and it shows frame rates, CPU usage, temps, GPU usage temps, memory usage. For me it did drop performance by a few FPS, not major.
