I have an older version of this Samsung monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001777. It works well 1) It is large so you are not staring at a tiny screen and 2) It is 1080P. The only problem is that it does not have a HDMI port. Besides that, it is an amazing monitor.

Hi, welcome to the forums :)

I actually was looking for a 24'' monitor last year and after much research I settled on this Asus VS247H-P It has HDMI/DVI ports and comes with a VGA adapter.

I compared mostly between Asus monitors and this one I found to be the best. It was cheaper than the VS239hv by $20-$30 at the time. You might not be able to get this monitor in your country though.

Here is the thread I used to narrow down my choices and make my decision.

This is some info on the different meanings of VX, VG, VE, VS

I would pick the Asus VS239HV 23" since it is the cheapest out of the Asus monitors you listed.
If money is no option, then samsung is also a great buy. (they are usually more expensive)

Enjoy your new monitor!
