Hello everyone.
I am currently looking to buy a 1440p 144hz gaming monitor and have now narrowed my selection down to two products:
Samsung LC27JG50
MSI MAG271CQR
In my country the Samsung monitor costs about 250€, while the MSI is priced at 320€. In terms of specs the MSI is better, but given the price difference I was wondering if its really worth it. Also I'm not quite sure about adaptive sync technology. It seems that while the Samsung has none, the seller claims the MSI monitor to be g-sync compatible. Not quite sure about that since I couldn't find it on Nvidias G-sync enabled monitor list. So I am now unsure if the adaptive sync is really worth it (if it's even compatible).
Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

The msi monitor uses free sync, for use with Amd gpu's. With the new Nvidia drivers you can use it with Nvidia gpu's, enable free sync first, then go in to Nvidia control panel and set up gsync settings with the monitor. I have the G27c2 Msi monitor and it works fine with gsync. I looked up your monitor, Msi, and it is Gync compatible. https://www.mwave.com.au/blog/2019/1/29/msi-optix-monitors-are-now-nvidia-g-sync-compatible This would be my recommendation.
