Hi everyone i am wondering if someone can help me with something i bought a Samsung ue590 thinking it was good for gaming but i think i should of been careful to jump in with it. so cut a long story short i want to get a monitor for my pc that will use the rtx 2070 and use hdr or freesync or gsync etc and better quality. now i am looking at the oddysey samsung ones 27inch but there enegry level is G! And so i am looking for 1 that has about a B or A energy efficiency as i cannot seem to find A or B rating ones with 144hz and HDR is this a normal thing or is it that it isn't easy to find? anyhoo please anyone help me out please thank you :)

With a 2070 video card in the system, just get whatever you want for the monitor and...
hi, HDR kinda needs high brightness (which translates into more power), gsync has extra hardware which draws some power aswell, high refresh rate also costs power, and something extra for reduced flicker etc etc

well whats more important for you to know, energy efficiency stickers for electronics have refresh, on old electronics u can still find some a+++ etc,now there is like zero A class electronics, what was a+++ is B class now, energy efficiency is same, but they changed stickers to motivate electronic makers to further improve efficiency...thats for europe union, if u buy it outside EU u can still get sticker with A or better class
An appliance that was classified A+++ in 2020 will likely be classified B or C in 2021, one classified A++ likely classified D or E, and the lowest performance appliances currently classified A+ will find themselves at the bottom with an F or G label class.

With a 2070 video card in the system, just get whatever you want for the monitor and don't worry about how much energy it uses. Compared to the full system it's a small fraction.
