Monitor 144hz with HMDI cable

Can i get the advantage of 144hz monitor in CSgo with HDMI cable?I have now a 60hz and in csgo i use 4:3 and 1152x864

No, if you want to upto 144Hz use a Display Port of DVi.

With HMDI will at least have 120 hz?
