I'm getting a new PC soon and I haven't owned a PC in almost 8 years so I'm pretty out of the loop and clueless. I will mainly be gaming. and at the highest graphics settings possible.
My setup is going to be :
i5-2500k 3.9
Dual HD Radeon 6870 Crossfire
8 GB Ram
1 TB Hardrive
etc... I think that is probably all that matters
Questions :
Some monitors have mupltiple connections (VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc..)
- What should I be using? and therefore looking for in my monitor.
Response time? I read that a fast response time is good to have. Something like 2ms?
LED vs LCD? I saw good reviews on the Dell Ultrasharp series, and I was looking at one of the cheaper models. Everything seemed great but it had 8ms response time. Will the response time effect my gaming experience?
I'm open to any brand and model. I just need to choose one quickly so it gets here before my PC.
