I have 2 monitors connected with DisplayPort cables, using Windows 10 64-bit. The primary is a 2560x1440 144 Hz monitor in landscape mode and the secondary is a 1920x1200 60 Hz monitor in portrait mode. Both monitors have been working fine for years, until I upgraded my video card last night. Now, I can't get a signal on the second monitor.

I have tried all the usual troubleshooting steps like removing and reinstalling display drivers, unplugging the cables, switching ports, etc. and occasionally I can get the second monitor to detect, but as soon as I reboot the PC it is gone again. When I click the "Detect" button in Windows to try to force detection, I can see the monitor light come on for a few seconds, but it displays "DisplayPort NO SIGNAL" and turns back off.

As I am out of ideas, I ordered a new DisplayPort cable to rule that out, and that will be here tomorrow, but I don't know why the cable would suddenly be the problem if it worked fine with my old video card.

Is there anything else I can try to solve this problem? Thanks!
