Question Monitor $500 budget

I'm sure this question gets asked a lot so I apologize. I'm looking for a new gaming monitor for competitive gaming. I currently use one that I got for free at work and it's not that good so an upgrade is needed.

I have a
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz 4.20 GHz
16gb RAM
and a 3060ti

Looking for an ideal monitor for these specs, don't really want to get a 4k monitor just because I'm afraid games will lag at that display.

Pretty much looking for a fast response time and good refresh rate (current one is 60hz).
My budget is $500, what do you recommend?

but i dont see it supports gsync?

Your processor is fairly dated so not sure how many FPS it can give in newer games.
