Monitor Advice - £1,200 max budget.

Hi guys,

My GPU is an Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX

I have a monitor budget of £1,200. I could be convinced to go a little more if worth it...

I'm currently debating either dual 27" ROG SWIFT PG278QR or a single 34" UWQHD ROG SWIFT Curved PG348Q

The dual monitors would be £590 x 2 = £1,180. The single 34 Ultra Wide is £960.

I want to use the monitor for gaming (FPS such as Rainbow Six Siege). I love the look of the 34"...but would dual 27" be the better choice for gaming; leaving me a spare screen.

I will also use the same set up for work, as i do a lot of work from home.

Looking for experienced advice! What monitors are sick right now? Are UW better or worse than Dual monitors set up? How is the GPU effected by 1 monitor vs 2 (more stress?). etc. I am a total newbie with monitors!

Since you are only gaming on 1 monitor, 2 590 is waste of money
ultra wide is way better gaming experience, but not everyone likes it, try it in a shop
I will get the 34" ultra wide and a cheaper 4k monitor for your work.
