Monitor AMD FREE SYNC, on a GTX 1050

Hello,

Im going to buy a monitor that as AMD FREESYNC functionality, but my laptop has a graphic card Nvidia GtX 1050.
I just want to ask if i can get the 144hz from the monitor, if this two monitor and graphic are compatible to have the 144hz?
I know that probably is a dumb question but i havent too many knowledge about computers

You can still get the refresh rate(assuming the laptop and monitor have compatble connectors)but the adaptive sync(freesync) will not be available.
