I am running this graphic card

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0106QZE62?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

with this motherboard

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012NH1SK8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01

and this processor

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012M8LXQW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00

want to use this monitor because of high resolution but this monitor does not have display ports just 2 HDMI, My graphic hard have display port and a single HDMI. If I were to use a display port to HDMI adapter will there be any negative consequences to resolution or performance?

Everyone:

Hi Lenfant,

A display port to HDMI adapter shouldn't cause a noticeable decrease in picture quality, both are digital signals. The only thing you'll lose doing this will be the audio feed which is carried over HDMI, which won't be a problem as long as you're not using monitor speakers.

Looks like a fantastic monitor to me.

The only truly negative reviews I've seen from it are that it only has 2 HDMI imports and doesn't support vertical full resolution. It has great reviews from gamers who have boosted the refresh rate past 60Hz successfully, and lots of people very happy with the color levels.

Also, since this monitor has HDMI ports the easiest thing to do would simply connect an HDMI cable from your graphics card to the HDMI in the monitor. That will give you superb video quality without needing to get an adapter.
