Monitor Asus mg279q

Hi guys, just bought asus mg279q monitor. I have this issue where the left half of the monitor is covered with light blue horizontal lines. The monitor was returned but the store service told me that it works fine there and they returned monitor to me. Again I have the same problem. I plugged only power cable by the lines appear again. Electricity voltage in my apartment is normal 220W. Doing all of this now I know it is not problem with electricity and my computer. Any ides what could be the problem?

Did you see it working fine at their shop? If so, then I would think the issue is on your end. If not, then I would ask to see it work. Otherwise, just return it as you bought it recently and it should be within your rights to return it for refund.

No I didn't see, they said if I want to go and check it out there I should come, if not I can and will return it like they said. The thing is I can't find this monitor in other stores. and I really don't know what can be the problem if it is working in their store.

Some out of the box thinking maybe you have stereoscopic 3D enabled somewhere somehow...but honestly it just sounds like a defective monitor.

Did you try different cables, like DVI instead of HDMI; or plugging it into the mobo and bypassing the gpu?

If I had these issues I'd return it asap. I've never had a "new" monitor behave weird.

Tried all. I guess I will be returning it. Any recommendations for similar model that I could buy?

If you want 144Hz and 1440p. If you are willing to go TN panel, there is the rock solid Asus PG278Q. Haven't heard quality issues like the IPS panels of similar specs.
