Question Monitor Beeping Sound

So i have an Acer P193W monitor and i wanted to use it as my sec. monitor, but when i turn it on the monitor emits some beeping sound and then turns off. When i restart the monitor like 50 times it starts working normally ,but its not a deal. So my question is:can i fix the monitor or i should take it to a service?

Does the monitor work like a primary monitor on your setup? Speaking of setup, how are you connected to the monitor from your system?

no it doesnt...after like 20-30 restarts it starts working..but like i said..its not a deal..im connected with a dvi cable. BTW i just noticed that the monitor doesnt turns off but the brightness becomes so low that i cant see sh*t..
